Peppermint

Peppermint has been used for centuries for its revitalising properties. Its scent is invigorating  the senses that promotes energy and alertness. It is a refreshing and stimulating oil that is both soothing and enlightening. This plant is cultivated in France.

Peppermint essential oil has a variety of uses. These can include applications to:

• Eases abdominal pain, diarrhoea and constipation
• Relieves indigestion
• Eases nausea

Although peppermint essential oil has many uses, it’s important to remember that many of them are supported through anecdotal evidence. This means that the benefits are related to personal experience instead of being backed by scientific research.

Peppermint oil can cause skin irritation, digestive symptoms, and, in some cases, allergic reactions. If a person develops symptoms while using peppermint oil, they should stop using it immediately and speak to a doctor.
