Tea Tree

Tea tree oil comes from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia, a small tree native to Queensland and New South Wales, Australia.

Tea tree essential oil has a variety of uses. These can include applications to:

• Use as an natural hand sanitizer, studies  shown that it kills bacteria 
• Use as a natural deodorant to control body odor
• Keeps insects away especially mosquito
• Acts as antiseptic for minor cuts

Although tea tree essential oil has many uses, it’s important to remember that many of them are supported through anecdotal evidence. This means that the benefits are related to personal experience instead of being backed by scientific research.

Essential oil can cause skin irritation, digestive symptoms, and, in some cases, allergic reactions. If a person develops symptoms while using peppermint oil, they should stop using it immediately and speak to a doctor.

Anyone with persistent symptoms that may indicate an underlying health condition should also speak to a doctor before trying peppermint oil. A doctor will be able to diagnose the problem and determine whether or not peppermint oil is likely to help.
